We have been 100% completely satisfied customers of Phil Kirk Enterprises, Inc. since 2002. During this period, Kirk Enterprises has undertaken three major projects for us: a complete renovation / remodeling of our kitchen to include soffit removal and installation of ceiling length cabinets and granite tops, finishing our basement to include full bedroom, full bath with ceramic tile, and separate storage room, and an extension to our deck with the addition of a three-season screened room that includes fan, detailed wood rafters and sky light windows. Each project also included many other extras that are too numerous to mention. The quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail of each of the projects were outstanding and we have been absolutely delighted with the results. Kirk Enterprises has also completed many other smaller projects for us with the same exceptional results. Another small but very satisfying detail that added up to a great experience for us was that at the end of each work day everything would be cleaned up and tools / materials placed out of the way. This little touch made the pains of going through a major renovation on our home very bearable.

It was a pleasure working with Phil and his team throughout our basement remodel. Phil came into our unfinished basement and listened to our ideas about how we were going to lay it out and then suggested a couple of different alternatives in addition to our original idea. Phil completely reimagined the space and his design was awesome. It maximized the amount of livable space while giving us plenty of new natural light through an expanded doorway and a new egress window. There isn’t a day that goes by that we aren’t grateful for Phil’s expertise in this area. In fact, I’m writing this in my new basement office looking out the window at the trees and could not be more grateful for his work.
In addition to the design, Phil’s skill as a carpenter are unmatched. Like any project on an older home, there were a lot of places that required creative solutions since nothing was square and Phil worked tirelessly to ensure that the final product turned out great. His estimates and pricing were solid and very transparent throughout the project and he was easy to work with.
Lastly, and this is where Phil really made a huge difference to us. The project was near 95% complete when Hurricane Sandy struck. A huge oak tree feel right through the middle of our house essentially destroying much of the top two floors of the house. The next morning over six inches of rain had fallen into the house. Phil and his crew showed up that morning to help us clean up and salvage everything we could. His team helped us move furniture and do 1,001 small tasks that in the end would help us rebuild the house faster. Phil and his team showed up at our house before the insurance company and the county did and just started helping out. They weren’t asked to do this or paid for it, but did it just because it was the right thing to do. That’s what you get when you work with Phil.

Kirk Enterprises, Inc. did an excellent job finishing our basement. They made the experience so easy and convenient. Phil Kirk, the owner, personally came to our house with suggestions from where to put the walls to the small details such as which lighting and fixtures to use Thanks to his suggestions we now have a basement that not only meets our needs, but that we love too! The workers were also courteous and neat. In addition, the prices are very reasonable! The best part though is that the work was done ahead of schedule, is of excellent quality, and looks great! We get so many compliments on our new basement from our family and friends! We will definitely use Kirk Enterprises, Inc. for all our future home improvement projects!
